The company was founded in 2000. We have in-house expertise in electronics, optics, and mechanical design. The initial products made by the company were the SC-WA and SC-10 industrial stereo video cameras. These cameras have now been discontinued, so that we may concentrate on the DentiMag3D™. The DentiMag3D™ was developed over several years, using technology and learning from our SC camera line. We did extensive surveys of medical applications before setting the parameters for the final camera design. We have done testing and evaluation with dentists and the system is now in regular use in dental offices. While the name of the product and the current marketing have geared it towards dental applications, the product is cleared by the FDA for sale into general and plastic surgery applications as well. While we design our camera and control systems from the ground up, it is not practical to make stereo displays ourselves. Therefore, we strive to make our products work with major stereo display equipment suppliers. We also integrate deployment systems (support arms) which fit in with standard dental suites.
