SC-10 Stereo Video Microscope

The SC-10 has been designed to act as a fixed magnification stereo video microscope. It is designed to work at 12 inches (300 mm) from the target, significantly more than most microscopes.  At this distance, the field of view of the camera is about one inch (25 mm).  This provides a roughly 11X magnification on a 17 in. CRT monitor. The unit is ideally suited for applications requiring magnification without the loss of depth details.

A selection of snap-on lenses is available.  The 2X provides a 22X magnification, while cutting the working distance in half (6 in. or 150 mm), the 3X provides 33X magnification (working distance of 4 in or 100 mm), and the 4X snap-on provides a 44X magnification (working distance from 3 in or 75 mm).  As with all optical systems, the depth of focus is reduced when magnification is increased.  However, because our system optics are custom designed for capture by electronic means (unlike attached microscope cameras, which are a compromise between human and machine optics), we think you will be pleasantly surprised with our performance.
